Issue 50 of Dusk is being published soon. This is an incredible feat in
these Internet driven times. Indeed, Dusk is the only printed Genesis
magazine worldwide. To celebrate this, we are planning a Dusk day which will
be held on September 24th in Orvieto, Italy.
The program is still under discussion but we already tell you that we will
prepare an exhibition dedicated to the band and we will be listening to two
short concerts: Ensemble Micrologus (medieval music performing their own
stuff influenced by Genesis) and After Genesis (a trio who recently released
an album of Genesis covers for piano, contrabass and vocal loops). Of course
there will be time to chat along with the people who made the history of
this magazine and to stimulate a discussion which will end with a supper!
The photo exhibition will
be held at Orvieto's Palazzo dei Sette from 11.00 to 19.30 of Sept 24th and
from 10.30 to 14.00 of Sunday Sept 25th. Dusk Day will be held, instead at
Orvieto's Centro Congressi - Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, from 17.00 to
20.00 on Saturday Sept 24th.
You can check out and listen to Steve Hackett's
greeting here.
